New identity for our creative hub and culture factory called Maakhaven; a studio complex with a network of artists, designers and craftsmen in The Hague. A place that strives for permanent accommodation for all cultural and creative disciplines, resulting in a diverse and mutually reinforcing network. The fresh identity is based on the building and its residents, with a custom-made font as the core.

The basic forms of the logo and typeface are based on the internal structure of maakhaven. Accompanied by the shape that originates from its monumental roof. For each letter of the alphabet there are two capital versions to play around with according to taste and depending on its neighboring letters.
